In today’s video I share with you how to use the “mirror principle” to bend reality to your will.
Fancy terms and concepts, I know.
However, the biggest problem I see is the inability of most to be able to take a step back, dis-identify and consciously choose their attitudes.
Eg let’s say you’re going through a tough time in your life right now. Perhaps business isn’t doing too well, and it in turn affects your emotional state. Your emotional state in turn affects your reality!
I share with you exactly how that happens, and this phenomenon can be understood via the mirror of reality.
So here’s what I discuss:
Hope this video is helpful! Leave me a comment below with your thoughts?
-Quazi
Quazi (00:00):
Quazi here. And in today’s video, I want to talk to you about a topic that I see a lot of my clients, and most people just get hung up over and over and over again. And this is the topic of events and meaning and how, whatever meaning you placed or whatever event or whatever circumstances that are unfolding right now, how they shape future circumstances, that unfold. I want to keep this really short for you, but I do think if you fully understand this and you start to consciously do this and catch yourself every single time you fall unconscious, this is going to completely change your life. So let’s go right ahead and get started with this. So before I begin this video, I want to quickly announce I made a brand new bootcamp for you. If you wanted to go check that out, just go to the pin comments in the description below, you’ll also be able to access our exclusive email list, where I can share stuff that I can’t really share on the channel.
Quazi (00:48):
So the link for that is just in the pin comments below. So let’s go right ahead and get started. I want to keep this video really short, but I want to share with you the tools that I use to help me, you know, take this 30,000 foot view and look at myself in the third person and look at my, you know, what’s keeping me stuck in my blind spots. Okay? So today’s topic is on events and meaning, and you might be asking quasi, what does that mean? Essentially in this channel, I talk about how, whatever attitude you have, whatever, however, you relate to certain things in your life, whatever it may be, you or it might be your thoughts. It might be certain circumstances, certain events, however you relate to them determines future events, that unfold. So this is from the concept
Speaker 2 (01:32):
Of the mirror principle. If you imagine there is this mirror and in this mirror, you present an image, right? Let’s say, here’s you and the mirror reflects this image. So there is an image and there is
Quazi (01:51):
A reflection, right? I hope you can see that this mirror represents reality. The images represent your attitudes, your thoughts, whatever you thoughts, your feelings, your attitudes are reflected in this mirror of reality. Now the mirror of reality works a little bit different.
Speaker 2 (02:11):
So just to recap again, the reflection is the outer world. The image is your internal world kind of knit in it. So if you start to present an image that’s undesirable and you keep
Quazi (02:25):
Being pessimists stick reality will give you more things to be pessimistic about. It likes to keep that loop going on and on. And why this happens is because this mirror of reality doesn’t immediately reflect things. Okay? So I want you to take a moment and think about that. Let that sink in the mirror of reality, the things that are happening around you, they don’t happen instantaneously. I don’t know why, but one of my hypothesis is that it’s because of the material quality of things in your, in your thoughts, you can concoct up a vision immediately like a dream. But in reality, that vision takes a little bit of time to manifest because of the material quality of things,
Speaker 3 (03:07):
Right? So
Quazi (03:09):
That’s why things around you take time to become a reality. So the circumstances and the events that you’re experiencing right now is a result of past action. Whether this be action in the form of thought in the form of feeling in the form of energy, in the form of physical action, even, okay, so you do something today. It is going to influence tomorrow, uh, the day off to a year from now two years from now it’ll compound. So it’s kind of like the compound effect, uh, wind today, uh, gentle gust today can turn into a tornado tomorrow. So this is what I mean by the mirror of reality. So this powerful quality of the mirror of reality is that it works with this delay
Speaker 2 (03:56):
Time. There is a Delta T the time
Quazi (03:59):
That takes to create your vision into life. The problem now is people we’ve been so accustomed to this instant gratification, you know, through services like Amazon who deliver immediately on the day off, we now expect everything to happen right now. We want all of the solutions to our problems right now in this moment. Unfortunately, it doesn’t always work like that because there is this delay time. So we must be patient. And that’s why successful business owners like the creator of Amazon himself, Mr. Jeff Bezos thinks very long term, right? He has this 10,000 year clock that chimes once every year, uh, that takes once every year and chimes once every 10,000 years. And he had that built just to represent his longterm thinking and how longterm he likes to think. So it kind of ironic that he made the fastest, uh, business that delivers instantaneously. But anyway, there’s this Delta T time that it takes for things to happen. Now, the other quality of this mirror is that it reflects the reflection. The reflection is your relationship to it. Now, what I mean by that
Speaker 2 (05:08):
Is if you imagine an optimist versus a pessimist,
Quazi (05:20):
SMS gets what they want. If the optimist gets what they want. So have you ever seen someone who’s really optimistic who just lives a really great life? They just get whatever they want. And for some reason, they just get really lucky all the time. And it kind of you off because it’s like, well, how are you doing this? Like, what’s, what’s going on? How are you so lucky? It’s because of their attitude, the mirror
Speaker 2 (05:41):
Reflects your attitude. So this mirror of reality reflects your attitude to it, your relationship or attitude to it. And on the other, the pessimist also
Speaker 3 (05:59):
Gets what they want, right? So
Quazi (06:01):
The pessimist is like, life, doesn’t go my way. Okay. Life doesn’t go your way. Here’s more things that don’t go your way.
Speaker 3 (06:08):
Okay? So
Quazi (06:10):
Now I want you to think about all of these circumstances that are happening in your life. We concluded that these circumstances are happening because they’re a result of past action action in the form of thought emotion, energy, or even physical action. Right? But if you really look at these actions, the way we relate to the circumstances of these actions. So for example, maybe something bad happens right now, something that you don’t want, that thing that’s happening, the circumstance that’s happening, that’s actually neutral, right? It’s just a consequence. But now we have an attitude to that consequence.
Speaker 2 (06:47):
And our attitude again, gets reflected. So
Quazi (06:51):
Let’s say you get slapped with a terrible bill. And you’re like, oh. Why did this happen?
Speaker 3 (06:56):
And now your
Quazi (06:58):
Attitude of, oh, this is bad. Gets reflected again. And that loop keeps playing itself over and over again. The biggest problem I see with people is that they can’t intercept that attitude at that moment and change it. And that’s why they keep experiencing the same circumstances over and over again. And they keep staying stuck
Speaker 3 (07:19):
At Groundhog day, right? So the mirror of reality reflects your attitude. Now what happens for most people is they look at reality. They look at what’s happening around them. And then they form an attitude form attitude. When they formed this attitude,
Speaker 2 (07:42):
The next step in the process is reality reflects it, right? And when reality reflects it,
Speaker 3 (07:55):
Then
Speaker 2 (07:55):
They observe this phenomenon. People will observe the reflection. So observe reflection. So this is the order in which it happens. This is step one. Reality reflects is step two. And observing reflection is step three, guys.
Quazi (08:20):
I really hope you can see this. That’d be really bothered if you can’t. And I have to remake this video.
Speaker 3 (08:25):
So, all right, it looks good. So you form your attitude first
Speaker 2 (08:31):
By observing reflection and then reality reflects it. Actually, I got this wrong. So how most people do it is they begin by observing what’s around them. They observed the reflection number one, and they use that reflection to form the attitude. So to give you a concrete of this, you get slapped with a bill
Quazi (08:58):
And it takes up a lot of your money. So you observe that reflection. Oh, no. Bill
Speaker 2 (09:03):
Form attitude. Oh no. Okay. So bill, oh no, this is bad. And reality now looks at this and it’s like, oh, okay, bad attitude reflect bad attitude. And this is what happens.
Quazi (09:18):
And then when reality reflects that, they observe it again. It’s like, oh, another bad thing happened.
Speaker 2 (09:23):
And this is how people overtime become pessimists.
Quazi (09:28):
And this pessimistic attitude keeps getting reflected and keeps them stuck in a loop.
Speaker 3 (09:33):
Right. So how do you overcome this? How do you overcome this cycle and how do you, you know, master the mirror of reality, where you’ve
Speaker 2 (09:44):
Got to intercept at this stage, and you’ve got
Quazi (09:48):
To choose the attitude that you want consciously. So instead of this happening now, instead of forming your attitude, number two, you simply begin with your chosen attitude. Okay? So now you start off, well, I want to be wealthy. I want to have a successful
Speaker 3 (10:12):
Form. Attitude. Quasi is a successful business
Speaker 2 (10:15):
Owner. Okay. Well, what’ll happen now is reality will naturally reflect that because it’s the attitude you’ve chosen.
Quazi (10:22):
Even if it’s in the tiniest bit, let’s say you make the attitude of, okay, quasi he’s a successful business owner. And then you make a video of something and the video gets some good responses. So now reality reflects that just in the tiniest bit, because you’ve just started off with this attitude. And what you do is you observe that reflection even the tiniest bit. And you use that to confirm, you’re like, oh, look, it is happening. The video got some good responses. People are really benefiting from this must be a really good video. Must mean I am becoming a successful business owner.
Speaker 2 (10:59):
And then you keep staying in that loop. Okay. So what we’ve
Quazi (11:04):
Just done is we’ve become conscious creators of
Speaker 3 (11:07):
Our life. Now,
Quazi (11:09):
The other biggest problem, most people face is they just fall unconscious. Like at the key moments in their lives, we become so identified with our goals. Let’s say you’ve learned all of this stuff. And now you’re like, oh, well, I’ve done all this. Why isn’t it working out for me? And when you express, why isn’t it working out for me? You’re admitting that it’s not working. And that becomes your attitude.
Speaker 3 (11:35):
Do you see that? So
Quazi (11:37):
You can never stop playing the game. If it’s not working. Sure. You can accept in the moment that it’s not working. But if you keep complaining and you keep, um, just bashing reality and forming a terrible attitude, then that’s what’s to get reflected. When you start to believe that it’s not working, then it won’t be working. Right? So this is why successful people are very biased. If you look at them, people like Elon Musk, people like Jeff Bezos, they have this like crazy vision of their own worlds. And I think Elan’s wife even described this. It’s like, we’re living in Elan’s world. It’s his world. And we’re just a part of it. Right? I think she says that in one of the, one of the books, and this goes to show how bias they are, like successful people. They they’re very biased because they choose their own attitudes and they let nothing shake it. So if you want to become successful, if you want to choose your destiny, you’ve got to become biased in that regard. So
Speaker 2 (12:39):
This is how you do it. Now, the question becomes when I
Quazi (12:42):
Fall unconscious, quasi, what happens like when I start to
Speaker 3 (12:46):
Form a terrible attitude, what do I do? And
Speaker 2 (12:50):
There are three questions you can ask yourself, I’m going to find a space for this. So three questions to ask yourself when you’re falling unconscious questions, question number one is how are you? You labeling this event.
Quazi (13:11):
So let’s say you set a goal to get to 20 K a month, right? And this will be your first 20 K month. And you’ve become so darn close to achieving that 20 K month. But just you just, as you get to that last final mile, something happens and the deal falls through and you start to get frustrated.
Speaker 2 (13:31):
Question, number one, how are you labeling this? You labeling this. So
Quazi (13:41):
Is this, does it live or is this negative? Is this good or
Speaker 3 (13:44):
Bad? That’s your attitude. The event is the deal falls through. And that’s completely a neutral thing. The
Quazi (13:54):
Deal falling through is completely neutral. But to you, the observer who is identified with getting to their revenue goal,
Speaker 3 (14:04):
It’s a bad thing to someone who is, let’s say homeless.
Quazi (14:11):
And you know, they don’t even have shelter or food. A $20,000 deal falling through is the least of their concerns. Right? So there’ll be indifferent to it. So ask yourself, how am I labeling this? Is this good?
Speaker 3 (14:28):
Or is this bad?
Speaker 2 (14:31):
If bad, ask yourself question number two. Can this potentially be a bid by bid? I mean,
Quazi (14:49):
Blessing in disguise can potentially be a blessing in disguise.
Speaker 2 (14:54):
Yeah, sure. Maybe. Okay. No problem. Number three. Can I accept this as a blessing in disguise? Can I accept this as bid? And a last question you can ask yourself just to give yourself further conviction is what’s the potential way? How can this potentially be, be a blessing in disguise? How right. So when you do that, you start to, because
Quazi (15:34):
Initially you’re going by faith, right? You’re just going by feeling like, okay, I’m just going to accept that. I have no reason to believe it. Now you’re getting the mind on board in seeing that this could potentially be a blessing in disguise. So let’s say in that instance of the 20 K deal falling apart, and you just getting so close to making a 20 K month, your first 20 K a month, and it just doesn’t happen.
Speaker 2 (15:58):
You ask yourself these questions and you arrive at well, how
Quazi (16:01):
Can this be potential blessing in disguise? Maybe if that deal went through, it would have led to a lot more headaches. Maybe this client would have been terrible to work with and they would drain my mental and emotional energy. And maybe if my mental emotional energy gets drained, then I wouldn’t be able to sign more clients in order to make even more money. So maybe one of this happened for a reason. When you start to give your mind these reasons, you see what you’re doing, you’re forming your own attitude. You’re becoming bias, just like Elon Musk, just like Jeff Bezos. This didn’t work out because it wasn’t meant to work out. Can you accept that? It’s going to be tough to do that in the moment, but
Speaker 3 (16:41):
You find a way to do it. And when you do, when you do ask yourself these four questions, you will become unstoppable because now you’re consciously forming
Quazi (16:50):
Your own attitude. And when you do, then reality will reflect it. So even if you can look at a perceived bad event and you start to see it as good, this is what happens. Imagine that you
Speaker 2 (17:03):
Are presented running on a board space. Imagine you’re presented with an event. This is the event, and this event is neutral. But if you put a positive meaning onto it, the Falk leads you to a positive lifeline or a positive life path where more desirable things happen and you put a negative meaning onto it. It leads you to the negative I’ve path where more negative things happen. So that’s the fork in the road. You can either put a positive meaning onto
Quazi (17:37):
It or a negative meaning onto it. When you put a negative meaning onto it, where, where you would say, ah, this deal fell apart. Of course this deal fell apart. I’m not good enough to make a 20 K deal. I’ll never be good enough to make a 20 K deal. The ego just wants
Speaker 3 (17:50):
To be right. Right. So even
Quazi (17:52):
More than achieving the goal of the ego just wants to be right. And why the ego wants to be right is because it wants to protect you from future failures and future disappointments.
Speaker 3 (18:02):
But guess what? The path to
Quazi (18:05):
Success is an uncomfortable one because it’s out of your comfort zone right now, because you’re not in it. And once you’re in it, it becomes comfortable, right? So once you start to do it, you start changing your paradigm and your world view, it starts to become a part of your comfort zone. So with time, this gets easier and easier. But if you want to keep growing, the unfortunate reality is you’ve got to be in comfort, okay. But at the end of the day, it will be worth it. That’s when you know you’re doing something fulfilling. Okay? So with that, I conclude this video. I hope this was helpful. Uh, let’s do a quick recap of what we talked
Speaker 3 (18:40):
About. We began
Quazi (18:42):
With the mirror of reality and the two principles of the mirror, which is essentially, it reflects everything with a delay and yeah. Reflect your own attitude to it. So if your attitude is a good one, it’s going to reflect the good things and give you more good things. And if it’s a bad one, it’s going to give you more bad things. And the image that you present is your internal world, your thoughts and attitudes, and the reflection that you get out of it is your external world, which is your outer world and everything that you’re seeing. And then we talked about the optimist and the pessimist. Why both of them get what they want, why the optimist just happens to get lucky and why the pessimist just happens to get unlucky. Their world view gets confirmed. And why that happens is because of this cycle of reality, that’s shaped by this mirror. Most people begin by observing whatever reflection they have around them. They look at their current circumstances and they’re like, oh, I hate my life because I have bills. And I have all of these things and I don’t like it. And I have no money and I’m broken, I’m fat and I’m ugly and I’m
Speaker 3 (19:45):
Alone. And then they use that to form an attitude. And this attitude is governed by
Quazi (19:53):
How they’ve been living life up until now. What they’ve been conditioned with.
Speaker 2 (19:56):
Again, the pessimism
Quazi (19:58):
Is a habit, but it’s just a habit that’s been conditioned within us. When you live in a world where everyone’s like, you’ve got to compete for limited resources, you know, you’ve got to compete to be number one, you’ve got to compete and beat other people to become an engineer, doctor or lawyer. No one is doing the thing that they want to do, but rather the things society, conditions them to do. And this is because the ego wants to be safe. And it’s, it just happens on naturally.
Speaker 3 (20:27):
It happens naturally. It happens
Quazi (20:29):
Naturally because it’s dictated by mankind’s consciousness level. If you’re at a certain consciousness level, you’re going to opt for certain things in certain ideologies, rather than others. You know, if you were at survival at the level of survival, you’re going to do the bare minimum to survive. If you’re looking to thrive, you’re going to choose music,
Speaker 3 (20:49):
Uh,
Speaker 2 (20:50):
Choices, food choices,
Quazi (20:53):
Uh, exercise, hobby choices that are tailored to that consciousness level. So your decisions get shaped by your honey, just this
Speaker 2 (21:00):
Level, right? So going back to that, people observed the reflection first and then use the reflection to form the attitude. And when they formed the editor should reality
Quazi (21:08):
Will reflect it again and give them more reflections to observe.
Speaker 2 (21:12):
What we want to do is not
Quazi (21:13):
Look at what’s outside now and get lost in the reflection. But rather simply for my attitude, first, we choose the attitude consciously and then reality will naturally reflect it. And you have to look at the little reflections that are forming right now with this delay time and use that to strengthen
Speaker 2 (21:33):
Your attitude. Okay.
Quazi (21:35):
And if you can’t do that and you find that you just fall unconscious, we talked about the different questions. You can ask yourself.
Speaker 2 (21:41):
Question. Number one is whenever this
Quazi (21:44):
Undesirable circumstance happens,
Speaker 2 (21:46):
How are you labeling this? Is this good or bad? If this is bad? Well, number two, can this be a blessing in disguise?
Quazi (21:55):
Maybe? Okay. Number three. Can I accept this as a blessing in disguise? Am I willing to accept this as a blessing in disguise, ask yourself that number four, how, what are the reasons that this can be a blessing in disguise? And we use that example of that business owner who gets a $20,000 deal broken off just right as they were about to close. Maybe this would have been tricky client. Maybe this happened for a reason when you start to show yourself that not only do you get your heart, but your mind on board as well to seeing this truly to be a blessing in disguise and the reflection in the mirror gets stronger with your positive attitude. So with that, I conclude this video. Thank you so much for watching. I sincerely hope this was helpful. Leave me a comment below letting me know what you thought of this.
Quazi (22:42):
I thought I’d just keep this casual and just freestyle this. I do hope this was valuable because I see this as what most people struggle with with keeping the attitude, right? I even struggled with this sometimes. And that’s also how I’m making this video. If you are new to the channel, make sure you like comment, subscribe, and hit that little bell there. Quazi (23:25):
They’re seeing that they might have the right tactics and strategies. Other people are using the same tactics and strategies, but for some reason, they can’t become successful. They have this invisible barrier and this invisible barrier is their blind spot, which is their mindset. You know, maybe they doubt themselves. Maybe they fall into patterns of procrastination.
